Get a car a woman wants then they will want your car not you.
Infiniti Q60 is the one you want. Sporty, reliable, sexy sleek looking go check them out. This is the two door upscale Infiniti not the Q70 mentioned above which is a 4 door sedan.
You don't want the car they would buy. You want the car they see their potential mate driving. And subtlety is key here.
ETA...Unless its a complete abomination, I've never heard of a girl caring much about what we drive, beyond high school or at least college age.
I'm already on my second 4Runner. I'm not up for a third. I don't need a vehicle this size. I'm retired and want to downsize. I want something small, something sleek.
I'm not interested in what any woman thinks of my choice of car. I'm impressed by the good buying decisions many women make, and I want to be smart like a smart businesswoman would be in picking out my next ride.
I hope my eventual significant other doesn'd care what I drive.
I see a lot of Lexux IS250's being driven by classy looking women, but get the IS-350 which has a lot more power.
I have a 2006 and it's been very reliable. Before that I had a 1996 4Runner which never let me down (I still miss it).
Thank you so much!!! That is a fantastically great post, exactly the kind of many posts I make when I'm giving help, not getting help. I have taken detailed notes on your excellent suggestions.
My GF too warned me off the VWs.
I've decided 6 cylinder, and no hybrid. The 6 won't cost much more mpg unless I punch it, and I drive only 8,000 miles a year, don't commute, and don't see any advantage a hybrid could offer me.
However I'm kind of turned off by traditional American brands such as Chevy and Buick.
I know as I was turned off by the American branded cars, but GM has turned out some decent cars with the Malibu and Regal as well as the Impala and Lacrosse. It's similar to Hyundai, where the Genesis sedan was a game changer for me, once I had a couple of them as rentals. I would not rush out to buy any Hyundai, but the G80 is a good cruiser that does not attract attention as other luxury brands can tend to do.

These 2 get tons of looks for me... Partially due to the exhaust on the half ton (headers, no cats, no mufflers) and the Bro Dozer stance of the 3/4 ton work truck.
People are not looking at you in anything but disdain. Sure you get a lot of looks but so do people that crap their pants in Walmart........
