It's a tie between the 1964 MGB I owned as a teenager and the car my mother drove at the same time, a 1968 Dodge Charger (her "granny car"). Loved them both.
Just like this, only switch the color scheme, black with a red leather interior.
Or this:
I'd be hard pressed to choose, but I was heartbroken when my mother finally sold the Charger.
i`d want this one back the most .. R code 69 .. but i`d also like my 440 6 pac super bee .. or both of my 64 galixies .. one a 406 six pac .. the other a 428 .. both 4 speeds .. or my 63 hipo 289 sports coupe fairlane .. or my 64 or 66 falcon .. both with the same 351 5 speed drive trains ..or either one of my 55 fords .. i want my 429 83 tbird back .. the baddest hot rod i ever built ..i want all of my V8 pintos back .. about 6 or 8 of them .. i`d even like to have the car i just got rid of .. my namesake ..
My Geo Metro. I got 52 mpg out of that thing with the manual transmission and a 3 banger. I had to turn the AC off going up hills but I LOVED THAT CAR.
Man - you guys have really had some great cars. Thanks for sharing them.
Mine only goes back to 1986 when Porsche re-introduced the 924S as a 1987 model. We had placed our name on the dealer's list and, Lord knows how, he got a message to us when we were camping on the Outer Bank of NC saying that someone had turned down one at the dealer in Roanoke.
We beat feet back to Roanoke and completed the purchase. In 1992, I was rear-ended by a blue-hair in a Caddy in Norcross GA and it was totaled. It was 7 years old, only had 42,000 miles and was essentially perfect. I think insurance paid me something like $7k off for it.
Perfect little car. It was only about 145-hp but it was faster than the 944 of that era. Handled well, quick, top speed at just over 140. Yes - I had it over 140 indicated on several occasions.
One can never predict the future but I'd like to think I'd still own this car if it hadn't been totaled.

My 69 Cougar, my aunt bought it new and gave it to me my freshman year of college...had it from 85 until I sold it in 93. It was just a base model, but still equipped pretty nice, 351W 2B, FMX, center console, AC, black vinyl roof, dark ivy metallic body with black interior, and those dog dish hubcaps, which I kept and added trim rings.
Only good thing is it's still around, guy I sold it to was going to redo it as his uncle had bought a very similar one in 69 also....

Tough choice. Did your MGB have wire wheels?
Still I think I would take the Charger. Avoiding Lucas and walking in the rain is a big incentive to choose the charger.
My orange 2007 Fahrenheit special edition VW GTI is the only car of the cars I’ve owned since 1975 that I miss. After 8 years of Vermont road salt, it was time to get rid of it.
