Ah, decisions, decisions...
Would it be the '69 Dodge Coronet R/T, 440 Magnum/auto?
Or the 1963 Corvair Spyder?
or the 1966 Barracuda?
Or the 1953 Ford fordor?
or the 1939 Ford coupe?
Or the 1953 Buick 2 door hardtop?
Or the 1941 Buick Special dual carb straight 8?
or the 1952 Kaiser Manhattan?
All (and many others) were fun to drive, and have fond memories associated with them.
If I could only have one, it would be a tough choice!
I would love to see that 1953 Buick as I always had a soft spot for Buicks
from the 1950's.

1953 GMC
WC Power Wagon
and for a 'modern car'...
1975 Opel Sport Wagon - that was a very sweet ride, and nearly PERFECT in the cold WY / CO winters

I had (3) '54 Buicks... (bought all for $75). should have kept a few (They were BEASTS), but... I was age 12 - 14 when I bought them, so wasn't thinking 'long term'.

.... would you love to own again? I don’t care if you sold it, traded it, wrecked it or lost in a divorce. Call it the day before that act occurred. You found it again, in a climate controlled facility, cared for by an army of master mechanic trolls and while its older, it’s in at least as good of shape as the day before last time you saw it.
What, why, when and where? Pictures of it or even the same from the ‘net are welcomed also. I know some of you kind folks have some great stories and I’d love to hear them.
No.
As much as any car from the past might have been "loved", no car can compare with the safety and technological upgrades that come with every new generation of vehicles.
1968 GTO, 4-speed. Dammit, should not have sold that. Just a garden variety Goat, not a Judge or anything, no Ram Air. But a car like that would set you back $15K easy now. I bought it in 1977 for $900.
My 1967 Olds 442, got it new in 67, not a great car, but still own it for sentimental reasons.
My 2007 FJ Cruiser, great truck but a gas guzzler. Sold it in 2013.
My 1994 Supra TT, loved everything about this car, sold it in Oct. 2016 for $50K. This car has not been registered in the new owners name yet. It is in his collection.
My 2016 AMG C63s, own it and love it, will not sell in the near future.
I haven't owned that many cars. The only ones that I have sold are:
71' Pinto --- I miss the Pinto for nostalgic reasons.
80' RX7 --- The RX7 was fun, but not in good enough condition to be a keeper.
84' CJ7 --- The CJ was fun, but wouldn't fit my lifestyle in any way now.
84' Mustang GT --- A lot of fun, and very versital. Can't think of any reason NOT to have it now - other than the fact it was treacherous in rain and snow.
95' Rodeo --- So, I guess it's the Rodeo - which was in every way I value a great vehicle. The only reason I sold it was because it got to the point where it sat for months at a time and I didn't want it to rot away.
1976 Toyota Corolla E5. Beautiful gold yellow. I used & abused that car for 18 months then totaled it. I’m sure I could have gotten 10 years or more out of it if I hadn’t abused it so much.
I would also love to get the Pontiac Catalina my family once had. I think it was a 1965 or 66 model. Sleek, stylish & comfortable.
2012 Chevy Camaro, got it used and never had a darn thing wrong with it. Crappy blind spots but still a fun little car. I have a corvette now but lets just say there's more maintenance and repairs involved.
