I love my 2006 Acura RSX and would buy it again in a heartbeat.
But they don't make it anymore. GOOD 2 door hatchbacks are rare.
Don't know what I'd buy if I needed a new car now.
I'm keeping my car until the doors fall off and the engine drops out!
I bought my 2008 Prius a few (well, eight) years ago and it's still going strong. No complaints, but when I bought it there was another one on the lot with a sun roof. It was more, but considering that I was going to own it for ten years or so I should have done that.
My wife has had her Camry about two years, still only has about 8,000 on it. She really likes it and would definitely buy it again.
I bought a new 2018 Silverado LS Texas Edition.... and no, I wouldn't buy one again. Nothing wrong with it, but I've discovered I like more of a sport car for a driver vs a truck.
It primarily just sits in my garage at the moment with very low mileage.
Absolutely. I did a factory order (much better than taking your chances wandering the dealer lot), so I got exactly what I was looking for. Nothing more. Nothing less.
I bought a new Golf TDI in 2003, and a low-miles 2003 Golf TDI in 2014. I still check Craigslist regularly to see if there are any other Mk4 Golf TDIs out there that I might be interested in.
2018 Silverado LT Z71, extended cab, 4X4, 6.5ft bed - Occasional regrets. In a perfect world, one wouldn't have to spend $60K to get AWD on an F150. The F150 is a better all around truck and the 3.5 Ecoboost motor is to die for. The Ford's transmission programming is better as well. However, for periodic use, I can live without the EB's power and live with the GM's funky trans programming. AWD is an absolute must in a pickup. Anyone who doesn't think so needs to familiarize themselves with the loud pedal. All non-AWD pickups slip and slide in the rain and when driven with authority. To get an AWD F150 equipped comparably to Chevy would have cost at least $15K more. Not worth it for a non-daily driver. Also, the Ford is nearly 6" inches higher at all critical points (bed sides, tailgate, doors) than my Chevy. Not sure why Ford thinks forcing owners to lift everything an additional 1/2 feet to use the bed is a good idea. Sort of defeats the purpose of a truck.
2018 BMW M550i Dinan Stage 1: No regrets. There is no alternative to this car at anywhere close to it's price point. I considered the M5, but at $40K more, I passed. I can live with a luxury car than does 0-60 in the mid 3s and runs 11.7@121 in the 1/4 mile. For me, that's plenty fast enough for public roads. Thought about a Tesla, but I don't want to be their beta tester - they're still novelties at this point and have a ways to go before they're "real" cars.
1992 GMC Typhoon. No regrets. It's everything I want in a project car. Rare, easy to work on, very responsive to modifications, and will hang with everything but the most powerful new cars.

I have a 2014 Taurus Limited. I'm probably the only person in the US who actually likes these cars. It's a big car, rides very comfortably, adequate power (288HP), huge trunk, and a nice assortment of technology with it's infotainment center and other electronics.
If I could go back, I would have gotten the SHO model. I want the twin turbo 3.5L V6 and 365HP
The current gen Taurus is probably the most underrated car out there, especially for the price. People complain about the tight interior, but I've yet to ride in anything short of a full sized pickup with more usable interior space. Plus, as you noted, there's that giant trunk. I have a 2014 SHO with the 12S Performance Package. I intended to sell it when I purchased a new BMW M550i this year, but just can't bring myself to do it. I will keep this car forever (which is saying a lot from someone who rarely keeps cars more than 2 years). With H&R springs, its more fun to drive than my BMW. With a tune and downpipes, it runs 12.8@108. While not in the same league as the M550i, it's more than enough to make first time passengers shout "Holy cr***p - what is this thing?" It's genuinely amusing.
You made a great choice. Ignore the naysayers. Most have never driven one and don't know what they're missing.

I believe you ment a 4x4 pickup not a AWD pickup because I’ve never herd of a AWD pickup.
