I would get a Sequoia or Land Cruiser if you want a big, reliable SUV. I don't know that I would trust the Dodge at higher mileage.

I would almost rather have a Kia than a Dodge, so take the Toyota.

Gotta agree, if you are stuck with just one of these 2 vehicles, grab the Toy and run with it.

I'd go with the Toyota. While any vehicle is going to start giving you some nickel and dime problems around the 80K mileage mark, you will definitely cut your losses with a Toyota in the long run as opposed to the Dodge.

If it has to be one of the two, the Toyota is by far the best long-term reliability bet.

I agree with bmwguydc the Land Cruiser is an amazing truck that will go anywhere it on par with a jeep or range rover when it come to off-road performance

Despite the higher miles, go with Toyota. I owned a 2000 Tundra with the same engine and they are so smooooth! Just make sure the timing belt is changed soon if not already nearing that mileage. On the 4.7 V8 (at least on the 2000) its recommended at 90K by Toyota.... some go higher. Its about a $500 replacement at a dealer. My truck got 15 mpg in town... expect the same with the Toyota SUV.

The Toyota will hold its value much better.... my guess - 7 years from now, you can sell the Toyota for $8-9000.... the Dodge, probably $4-5000 if you are lucky.

After all these positive comments I am sure the original poster will choose the Toyota, which is a great choice.

If you plan on keeping it for more then 2 or 3 years, go with the Toyota.
