Stephen Jackson while having had his issues with "authority", he is one of the most "loved teammates" on every team he has been on. Tim Duncan has repeatedly said capt jack is the best teammate he has ever had.

Bogut gives the warriors a solid defender in the paint, and they have been supposed to be trying to head towards more defense.

Bogut gives the Warriors all that when he is able to play and stay healthy. Is he scheduled to play at all this season?

Playing in NYC is huge. Moving from a small to medium
Market to a basketball Mecca is huge. Not to mention sponsors are more willing to pay you big money if your the man in La, NYC, or Boston. La and NYC more so.

Playing in NYC is huge if the team is succeeding and making the playoffs. Will Melo still enjoy playing in NYC if the Knicks miss the playoffs this season? So it's all about how well the team is doing because you know how rough NYC can be once you start losing.

Well after reading the Steven Jackson wiki page he certainly has his list of credible endorsers. Still a tad strange if he is so loved that this is his 7th new team in 11 seasons.

Kwame Brown is an expiring contract, so he most likely won't be back next season.

Here is the article:

Warriors send Monta Ellis to Bucks in trade for Andrew Bogut - NBA - Yahoo! Sports
As a Warrior fan, I don't understand this. We told Orlando we would only trade Monta if we got Dwight Howard in return but instead we go after Bogut who is not as good and frequently injured? Then we throw in Ekpe Udoh who is just starting to come into his own. I do like who we got because I do think that when healthy Bogut is good and I do like Stephen Jackson but now we need another guard and Monta was a top ten scorer. Not going to be easy to replace that. Unless the owners are trying to bring in D-Will in the offseason or someone of a similiar caliber or they have someone in mind in the draft, otherwise I don't understand giving up Monta so cheaply. Biedrins should have been in place of Udoh if this was going to be done.

he has not been in the right situation since the spurs and he left the spurs over money (like most at that age do). he loved being a spur, and they loved having him but they didnt have the money to pay him and so he left. i think had he stayed he would have had a totally different career path.

yes bogut has leg/foot issues AGAIN but still you dont give up a VERY good big man for a guy who takes terrible shots, doesnt defend, and rarely passes. how are jennings and ellis going to get along? neither of them likes to give up the ball from what i have seen.

seems like they both made a deal just to make a deal. if anything this is better for the warriors. think about it, ellis and curry used to have to share the ball, now curry can learn from jackson (whom i expect will have a better attitude) and he will not have a legit big who will have to be respected on both ends of the floor.
The Bucks needed cap relief. Since Kwame has a $7 million expiring contract, it definitely helps. And if you add to the fact that they shed Bogut's long term salary too, they definitely helped themselves. Not a bad trade from them. I would say they probably got the best of this one, but if Bogut can return to form, the Warriors will be a dangerous team next year.

New York Post beat writer Marc Berman writes that Anthony told a friend that he wants to be traded.

Writes Berman:

According to a person familiar with his thinking, Anthony's disillusionment stems most from a belief coach Mike D'Antoni and interim GM Glen Grunwald do not trust him. He is surprised that after all the Knicks gave up to trade for him, he has not been asked for more input on personnel decisions, as Deron Williams has with the Nets...

... On Monday night, Anthony only wanted to remain a Knick if he had assurances D'Antoni wouldn't be back next season....

Anthony is not close to owner James Dolan the way Amar'e Stoudemire is. The source said Anthony gets along best with assistant GM Allan Houston, who eventually could succeed Grunwald....

...Though Stoudemire lobbied for the Knicks to trade for Anthony, the pair's friendship has not flourished. "They're not as close as people think they are,'' the source said. "It's an awkward relationship.''
