Usually a inquiry that end with such an invitation WANTS INPUT. But not always, as we have learned in this thread.
No cyber city I did want information. I wanted information on Hawaiian Acres HOA but I knew my question would be avoided and the thread would be filled with garbage. I guess thats why I tried to reiterate the subject of this thread. It didn't work.

One less Fire Ant in the world. I'll drink (Pink Lemonade) to that!!!!

Good luck on your prospective purchase. Hope it works out for you and there is no need for "I told you so".

For my tastes, however, the other side of the Island is much more desireable.

ha ha ha... That's pretty darn one sided, "we can sling crap at you, but please no need to sling it back"

I'll be happy to report my progress once I get over there good or bad, I'll tell it how it really is pictures and all.

It's possible that Hawaiian Acres is under, or close to, the flight path of the volcano tour helicopters. It's at least close to that area where there are a lot of complaints about the noise and invasion of privacy. But since I haven't spent the day there checking out the neighborhood, I don't know whether it is affected or not.

Noise is one of the things i always check for before i buy real estate.

But like I've said before. Land is cheap in Puna, so nobody is going to be ruined for life if they make a mistake and have to walk away from it.

Oh Oregonwoodsmoke you just brought a tear to my eye ha ha thank you,

Thank you for the HA information. I'll look into that. Have you noticed if they fly pretty low or are they up there pretty high. Where I am at now I am close to an Airforce base and an Army reserve we have Apache's that fly very low here, luckily during the daylight hours mostly but they make quite a bit of noise and can rattle the windows. Maybe I can find a flight path online.

The flight path between Hilo Airport and the eruption, the most popular flights, go over whichever areas have the best weather on any given day. One day Hawaiian Acres, next day Leilani or Nanawale. When the weather is really bad the flights are along the coast. They always seem too low.

Touche'.

If I may, in your final "slap", change it from "slap slap" to just one slap.

slapitty slap slap. Sounds better, IMHO.

BTW, have you got a pitcher of Lemonade iced up yet?
