Honestly, most of us really don't need a blow by blow. Get back to us in five years and let us know how it went.

If you're gonna be WOOFing, then you'll hopefully get some hands on with fruit trees.

If they're started from seed, frequently what sprouts won't be true to the original. A lot of it has to do with what other flower (back to flowers again) provided the pollen. Of course, if they're started from seed then there's the possibility for improvement, but there's also the probability that it may not be as good as the original.

Other than from seed, some trees can be started by taking a cutting and planting that. It's actually kinda amazing how many trees can be started that way in Hawaii. We don't have the winter freeze to kill them off before they get established.

If they won't start from a cutting, then folks will do what's called an 'air layer'. That involves removing some bark, putting on some moist moss and wrapping it. Then ya gotta wait for new roots to grow before cutting off the branch and planting it as a new tree.

The other option is to graft a scion (part of a branch) from the good tree onto a rootstock or an inferior tree of the same or similar variety. A lot of the fruit trees that are sold are grafted. You can look at Plant It Hawaii's website to see the different grafted fruit trees available around here.

Perhaps you'll find a good WOOFing spot where you'll get to try out some of these different ways to multiply fruit trees. It's always good to have more of them around.

I was gonna do my work share hours in the evening, so I could sleep in bed with local wives during the day while while their not so well endowed husbands are at work. That's my plan.
I believe you are referring to flour. Flowers aren't generally put in a sack, with the possible exception of those going to be processed to extract essential oils for perfume etc.

I don't think you need to worry about the "alive" part.
