Also this happened late yesterday evening:

The title of this thread should be changed to "Police expecting a rough winter ahead, in the City". We're not even past Thanksgiving yet and Christmas season has been known to be the worst after Summer.

Thugs feel emboldened now that we have defundie whackadoos across the board, both on the council and in the mayor’s office. Here’s to hoping the next beatdown takes place in the tony Back Bay or Seaport and involves some limousineling, that will pause the cash inflow and nudge the clowns in power in the right direction.

Of course you're not defending them. The comments section of Universal Hub is a nearly airtight source for the truth. Seems quite plausible that an 82 year old with no apparent prior criminal history would go out to find a marauding group of motorized terrorizers to pick on.

Isn't that up to the DA?

I myself have almost been run over while biking in the city. It’s not fun and not hard to believe that an older guy would be particularly prone to anger & violence at seeing a group on dirt bikes.
