Some listings that sold across the street..

Are you referring to the large brick building behind the parking lot toward Harrison? That's the SoWa building that was used as an open-air beer garden and occasional winter SoWa nights. In early 2020, they started weatherizing the building to be used for event space and put windows in. If you go to one of the remaining SoWa weekends this year, you can see the new windows.

Oh nice !

I lived in the South End for a year awhile ago but it was the other side down by Mass Ave. I think they did have something like this back then and that area was called already called SOWA but I couldn't remember the details.

Dorchester man admits he trafficked women, teen for 15 years even as he was racking up other criminal charges

A Dorchester man with a long criminal record pleaded guilty yesterday to both federal sex-trafficking charges and to charges he talked about "taking out" or kidnapping people who might have been testifying against him.

According to prosecutors, even as he was trafficking women, Brown was engaged in a whole series of other criminal activities that resulted in numerous convictions on state charges over the years on everything from assault and battery to drug trafficking.

The Defendant has an extensive criminal history evidencing numerous arrests and dozens of prior criminal convictions. Based upon the government’s review of Brown’s record, he has been charged with at least 52 felonies and 42 misdemeanors. Of those charges, he has been convicted of at least 11 felonies (including convictions for Assault and Battery, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B and Class D substances, Distributing Class B Substances, and Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substance Act) and 28 misdemeanors, respectively.

wow..

It's very sobering. I am somewhat anxious to hear who Wu will select as Commissioner, as well.

‘In the last three days, we’ve had multiple Boston police officers stabbed and shot by individuals. 911 calls, they responded to those calls. So just remember it is a very hard job to be a police officer,” said Suffolk District Attorney Rachael Rollins, who spoke from the scene while being heckled by someone standing nearby.

Cops have also killed two people over the past 3 days. Can’t say I blame them since they were stabbed and shot at. Hopefully some peace will return because it’s been a bad few days.

She’s all about restorative justice, as in restoring criminal’s ability to commit more crimes no more than three days after the initial arrest, so don’t be too surprised if she tries to pick some defundie activist with barely any connection to law enforcement.
