I am enquiring what the best value cable packages in the Boston area? Comcast seems to be a bit over priced. Is there an alternative to cable, maybe a satellite option?

In many neighborhoods there is a company called RCN. We used them and they were great.

I've used DirecTV in the past. I'm moving, myself, and just signed up for it again. (my current apartment wouldn't let me have it)

When we lived in Boston, we got the basic cable package for $13/month from Comcast. We got lucky and they left the full cable on.
