Considering a 7.0 earthquake hasn't happened in over 20 years yet hurricanes hit Florida every year I'd say it's not a fair comparison. Wild fires only happen in the ****tier parts of California.

I am not sure what your asterisks imply, but many very beautiful parts of the state suffer wild fires. Right now the Sierra Nevada foothills have some blazes, & they are in a beautiful area. and they happen every year.

Oh get real, don't belive everything you hear. Yosemite also has fires. Don't the forests near Arcata ever have fires?
