OP, may I ask what's your interest in the cheapest place in CA? Hope you are not planning to relocate there! It's teh cheapest for a reason -- nobody wants to live there.

Nope. Desirable parts of az/nv are getting up there in price, even the bad parts can be costly. People need to stop recommending those states. Poor people should move to Texas or to a nearby state, instead.
