We moved to Modesto about 6 months ago, my husbands company recommended the Willow Grove apartments on the corner of Sylvan & Coffee. We lived there w/o any problems, until we could find a house. Good luck.

modesto's not too bad. i live in manteca and wouldnt recommend it. someone above said that modesto was one of the worst cities in the valley...manteca is worse. if i were you, and i could afford to do it, id check out livermore.

Somethings wrong with this picture, living in the Bay to commute to Modesto, that's upside down, lol, but if you found a job in Modesto, good for you. Your one of the few.

Sorry.modesto isn't one of the worst cities..i love it here...tracy is nice too, i've lived in pleasanton too-if you could afford it--very nice there--love livermore too..if you still want to rent in modesto, there are some sper deals in the oakdale rd/scenic drive area...nice private gated communities too..i came from michogan and really do like it much better here than that continuous cold weather...good luck to you!

Only a fool would take a job in Modesto. I would rather be homeless. It is one of the most crime ridden yet boring places on earth.
