SO, from a few isolated incidences, you can label "many" soldiers losers? Seems you're pretty generous with your extrapolation, and perhaps it is you that would benefi from the symbolic logic refresher.

Or, perhaps I should say " Your opinion (personal attack?) is noted, Palmetto?"?

Absolutely! And NRA has nothing to do with it. You really don't know what drives liberal politics do you? Please do some research on your own and learn the facts.

That's what this really boils down to, doesn't it? I got the better of you and you can't stand it. Have a nice life, Hoagie.

You got the better of me? I've served my fellow man. Ive served my country. I proudly wore the uniform of this great nation. I'm just a little confused about how someone can be so miserable about themselves that they have to disparage everyone from Yankee transplants to United States soldiers. I'll have a great life, with no regrets, while it appears you'll grow old bitter.

I gotta get to bed and don't have time to respond to you in depth or as intelligently as the following links, but happy reading. Maybe you'll get to reply before this thread gets shut down, I'm actually surprised we got to have this much fun with it.

ROTFLMAO!!!! You post these links and you were calling me a conspiracy theorist? This is just getting ridiculous. There is middle ground. That is where the truth lies and some will find it, but obviously not on this thread.

Back to the OP, the letter was tactless and silly. Using it as some kind of template of how a certain "camp" thinks is equally silly. Respecting the troops is honorable and right. Blindly supporting a foolish war isn't. Some conservatives have good ideas. Some liberal ideas are equally as good. But on the fringes of each group are lunatics.

I'm tired of the circular logic and posts with recycled arguments that don't really respond to previous posts. Im through with this thread.
