I guess not enough people wanted to pay $20 for parking and whatever the price of a ticket is these days.
I heard this morning that the Epicenter is already close to signing a deal with a new company to run the theater. Doesn't look like it will be closed for long.
I guess not enough people knew parking was free for movie goers.
See, I had no idea! I stopped going there for dinner because parking was too expensive unless your restaurant had the free valet. The times I did park there were a disaster because that garage is damned confusing.
Here's another place that is closing. Never heard of it but I am sure someone here has.
It's hard to imagine that people with kids would really want to go all the way to downtown to watch a movie in that place. I see the appeal of that being even less than what they have now.
The Epicenter was a good idea, but it suffers from really bad implementation by Ghazi. He seems to have a habit of proposing something, then years later, something quite different is built. His center in Huntersville is another example of this.

It's so funny cause my mom practically dragged me down there to see Star Trek when it came out. She was sipping wine and we shared an olive tray with no kids around. It was nice.
