Wow. That's going to be one heck of a container store. That space is huge. I was surprised and a bit saddened to see that Carmella's in Carmel Commons was closed. When did that happen?

I think Carmellas closed in September. There has been rumors that it had a gambling issue with some video poker machine and then there was a story that the LL had issues. Not sure what is true.

I was in that shopping center this week and was surprised to see it gone. We were there in August. It was ok, nothing too amazing in my opinion, but lots of foot traffic in/out.

The gambling becomes illegal December 1st. They're still open for busiiness in Kings Mountain.. . . except the Midnight Diner. They closed up & moved to Charlotte to be a real diner.
