Thanks im planning to visit charlotte for 3 days or so and the mountains of NC for 3-4 or so this fall time. Also i made a thread about where i can live in future.. so maybe you can help

We would be glad to help. But you really need to start a new thread on that - visiting in Fall, need suggestions for trip. That way, more people will see it and will help you. This is just a chat thread and you will get more response plus be able to come back and find your thread more easily if it is posted on its own. Things get lost on this long thread, LOL!!!
