Hey everyone, Im hoping to move to Charlotte after graduation in December and I want to find a "cool" place to live. Im hoping to be near, like walk out the door and theres things to do all around kinda close, resturants and parks and attractions since I will be single and living in an area where I dont know anyone.. yikes! Id like to be in an area where there are similar young people like me. I dont necessarily need to be in the city but Id like to be close!

So my question to all of you wonderful people is... does such a place exist??

Hmm.
You cannot spell 'resturants' correctly and you will be battling for jobs against people with 10-15 or more years experience depending on your major.
I know MBAs working retail and restaurants...

Charlotte is hard hit, get a job first, then move.

Well when you do find a job check out NoDa. I'm a recent college graduate as well but could only afford the NoDa area because I do have a pretty good job. I bought my condo for around $190k. They have apartments in the area that start at around $700. Good luck on the job hunt!

the South End area is really becoming popular. and its easy access to uptown since you can hop on the light rail. there are lots of apartments, condos and townhomes going up right there.
