Interesting, I imagine they won't bother with SF and LA.

It might not be banned yet, don't remember, but I remember seeing a news story about this saying how the Boston Mayor told Chick Fil A to not even try coming to Boston because they don't want them there.

Sure, in the same way the KKK has the balls to state their beliefs. That doesn't make them right, and that doesn't mean we should want bigotry in our community.

It's not just what the owner says. It's the organizations he funds with profits from his restaurants. Supporting them = supporting hate. Period.

See the other thread, but Chick-fil-a has a long history of having to settle out of court for their discriminatory policies.

Takes a whole lot of courage to proudly wave your bigoted douchebag flag.

The concept is similar but I wouldn't compare them to the KKK. Not supporting gay marriage is a bit different from wanton violence against minorites. Perhaps if the companies' employess start hunting down and attacking gay people.

Bigotry is bigotry. Civil rights are civil rights. I'm not saying the organizations are the same. I'm just saying they both have horribly hateful viewpoints that they have "the balls to state," and I don't want either anywhere near me.
