No, the blame for the destruction of a city that I used to look forward to visiting, is firmly on you and the rest of the people in the city that should know better. The crime and corruption there is over the top. It's because of personal responsibility all right. There isn't near enough of it from voters like you and the resident's who consistently look the other way. YOUR votes and YOUR refusal to recognize the obvious is killing this city.

You are right about one thing, I'm not visiting here anytime soon other than to touch down, change planes, and leave at O'Hare.

It’s astonishing these people represent a mere 30% of Chicago’s population yet they make up the vast majority of rioters and violent felons in the city. It’s troubling that liberals in the city continue to bury their head in the sand and ignore this unfortunate reality. It also doesn’t help that the far left lunatic DA continues to release violent felons from jail.

I remember when criminal justice reform was about letting marijuana offenders and people who robbed CVS from jail. Now these nut jobs believe in having grace for violent felons who have committed acts of evil.

Eh, the George Floyd riots were a pretty equal-opportunity affair. Some of the subsequent looting raids, not so much. But the initial rioting was a veritable rainbow coalition of ne'er-do-wells.

NYC had it during the BLM riots. Lived here all my life, 50 yrs old and never saw vans and cop cars being torched until 2020. In the old days, Rudy would have allowed the NYPD to shoot first and then ask questions.
