Yeah, and the George Floyd riots were in every major city. Chicago didn’t really standout. Even places like Beverly Hills (LA) got completely ransacked. NYC, DC, and Philly probably got more coverage of their damage than Chicago. Still, there is undoubtedly a certain group that is now always involved in these riots across major cities.

100% correct. Faux News is having a field day lately. The problem is we give them plenty of fodder, such as our Mayor-elect's expressions of sympathy towards the thugs who smashed cars, assaulted tourists, and shot two people over the weekend. Embarrassing and unbelievable. I hope he learns from that.

Yeah how dare Fox news say there is violence in chiraq. We had no violence at all lmao. I forgot democrats see violence as peaceful protests. That woman who was beaten that is not violence, that is peaceful according to the left

The problem with Faux News is that most of their viewership cannot distinguish "The Left" from regular democrats who have common sense, which is actually most of us. Faux depends on that for viewership, thus they love to publicize our misfortunes, with flourish. I mean obviously you're a righty but you would even have to admit that, if you're being honest, yes?

I wanted to give this city a chance by seeing who the next mayor would be, but with this clown in place, the city is doomed. I am at my tipping point and am finally looking to officially move away from a city I once loved.

We are out in 2 years. Lightfoot brought the city to the brink and BJ will push it over the cliff.

I never said what I was. Interesting you assume someone against crime and violence is on the right. That says it all. But your comments are insulting to anyone who is against violence. But again you are clearly a democrat so violence brings you joy. Enjoy Chiraq

Huh?? Didn't I just call our Mayor elect an embarrassment for his criminal coddling comments? Yup, I just checked. I sure did!

See, Faux may have you brainwashed. Dem bad. MAGA good. I won't go any further so as to avoid another timeout, but I will recommend getting your news from multiple sources. Even I have to remind myself to do that. None of the mainstreams, from PMSNBC to Faux, have anyone's best interest at heart. They are just pushing their agenda.

I believe Paul Vallas would have been best. No, he wouldn't have solved it overnight, but he also wouldn't be up there apologizing and telling us not to demonize the poor things, who are just wayward youth in need a little opportunity. Apparently on top of the $11 billion we're already spending via government alone on social services between CPS, the City, and Cook County government. I'm also honestly wondering if the police response was limited by a, ahem, certain lack of motivation? The leader cannot solve things alone, but he/she can set the tone.

Making more assumptions I see. That is very sad. Then so is calling a network faux. But according to you they made it up. There was no violence in chiraq

You must assume that video of the woman being beaten is fake, the cars on fire and the husband who is in the hospital it is all fake
