How deep is this hole and how many people have had some sort of contact, either by accident or willingly, with the underground business that takes place and has taken place in this city for years and years? what if i'm not really affraid to hang around with the green-eyed herd? are my concerns legit or am i just being a bit too paranoid?

thanks in advance.

HAHAHAHAHA.... This can't be serious, right??

Well, you will run into the mafia/mob if you're dealing with most unions at a macro level, or trying to land big scale work projects.

Or, like, gambling rings.

They're not that hard to find, but I have to say that they handle things more efficiently and generally require less in bribes than your average alderman.

Default mafia

I don't know about Chicago but there are known connected Italians in Elmwood Park, Melrose Park and Stone Park. EP is where Joey "The Clown" Lombardo spent his last days.

Al Capone has been gone for a long, long time. Even if you search for those with "connections" 24/7, I am doubtful you will ever find them.

Yep, and nobody knew until they caught him.

From talking with residents, EP is the home to some people with mob affiliations and some of the remaining members are known to eat at Armand's on Grand Ave.
