Well, it's well known that Holidays such as Christmas , Easter, Halloween, New Year's etc...
are all Pagan Holidays and no where near Biblical. but Christians worldwide see no problem at all celebrating these obviously Pagan Holidays. Most of them celebrating INSIDE their own churches.
Now how wicked is that?

So in reality, 99% of "Christians" are really Pagans and don't even know it.

I beg you to look up the definition of pagan. Then you can paste the definition here so we can do an analysis of your viewpoint.

A Jehovah Witness teaching. That sums up the OP's viewpoint.

In some ways, Dude. Most of the time I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I hear ya, Nate. And were I a Christian, I might experience that same dichotomy.

But I think it's important that Christians of all stripes be exposed to the lunatic fringe of their faith, as happens regularly here on CD. It illustrates what can happen if one tosses reason and intelligence out the window in favour of memorizing parts of a book.

Not much different from robots spouting language they've been programmed to spout.

And ONLY what they've been programmed to spout.

yes I know paganism was initially involved in deeming which days are religious days.. HOWEVER....

if I celebrate them with Jesus in mind, and in His honor, then I am not sinning, nor giving homage to paganism.

if YOU feel they are wicked, then for YOU, do not do them, however, do not be legalistic in determining this issue. I usually don't get on people for legalism, but in this case, I see you are thinking that way.

I do not do yoga for the reason to me that it is a religious ritual that is a form of worship to idols. I know some people treat it as strictly exercise, but it has another meaning for me, and I do not participate in it.

Bible teaching. Sadly your Pastor is misguiding you so you can't catch what I'm talking about.

I follow what The Holy Bible says :

Matthew 6:24

"No man can serve two masters: for either he: will hate the one, and love the other;
or else: he will hold to the one, and despise the other"

So either you are paying homage to Paganism or following the what the Bible says in your actions, and by all accounts your are paying homage to Paganism. not good.
