That this extends into the eternal state is stated in Revelation 22:3-5.
Rev. 22:3 There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; 4] they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. 5] And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.
Again, Jesus stated by way of the parable of the Minas that some would rule over ten cities and some over five cities.
Luke 19:17 And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’ 18] "The second came, saying, 'Your mina, master, has made five minas.' 19] "And he said to him also, 'And you are to be over five cities.'
Jesus told the apostles that in the Millennial kingdom they would rule over the 12 tribes of Israel.
Matt. 19:28 And Jesus said to them, "Truly I say to you, that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on His glorious throne, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
And so, once again, you either believe Jesus or you don't.

Also, once again, I am 61 years old. Referring to me as 'young MIKE' in an attempt to talk down to me does not change what the Scriptures say.
So, let me do some math..

How many people do we suppose would be included in these mini-rulerships? A million? Considering the population of the earth and the total number of souls who have come and gone since salvation was first made available to mankind, and each gets 5 cities, where will these 5 MILLION cities be?

How many people do we suppose will inhabit each city? Since one person has rulership over 5 cities, should it be assumed they are all in close approximations?

How will it be decided who gets just 5 cities and who has the blessing of getting 10 cities?

Really ought to get over those insecurities, after all, If Christ be for us, who can ever come against us...

I believe the TWELVE THRONES are reserved for the 12 disciples, are they not? Or do we actually believe we will replace the 12 disciples because we will be proved to have greater faith?

Do all the math you want. Speculate as you will. You still must decide whether or not you believe what the Bible says about it. Oh, and many believers won't rule over anything because they did not serve Christ in this life. While eternal life is freely given by grace through faith, eternal rewards and rulership responsibilities are earned.

Love is mentioned 310 times in the bible 131 in the old testament and 179 in the new testament. If you notice God mentions about how he loves us many many times in the old and new testament if you also notice Jesus did not come to judge and condemn he didn't come to save soul by showing his awesome might he did everything in and out of love in fact every command he gave for us to do seemed to be an act of love if we were to do them.

God appears to be a God of love and thus as his children should we not be love? I do not claim to know the ways of God or that all my beliefs are correct in fact i can guarantee there are some beliefs I believe in that are incorrect and so I always keep a teachable heart. If one is to learn and grow in faith they cannot have an I am right and you are wrong no matter what attitude, they need to have the humbleness to admit they were wrong and learn from it.

in the end this sin't about what I believe this matters about what all of you believe and how you and God take what you believe an do with it.
did not mean to offend you blain, just putting what I see everyday on this forum. believe like me or you are not a true Christian. I hate that type of thing. not saying that was your point, just an observation.

Some say "love is god", but the Bible says love is a fruit of the Spirit. Some try to save themselves talking about love, and by trying to be "loving", but since love is a fruit of the Spirit, the Spirit must come first.
when you walk in love you walk in God and God in you, how can anything be greater then that?

Thanks for sharing the "love is god" viewpoint. I'll stick with what I said earlier.

Like I said, I'll stick with what I said earlier, because it is 100% accurate. There are many important things in Christian life, and I posted what I posted. Feel free to disagree. I do not care.
