Homosexuality is not a new sin, and it was quite prevalent in New Testament society, which is why it is even mentioned at all. However, even if it was never spoken of, God has given as a clear framework of sexual purity and marriage in which we can discern what is moral and immoral sexual behavior.
Also, just because God loves does not remove his righteous justice. There is no logical contradiction in both of these nature's existing, as we see parents exhibit this quite clearly.
Lastly, Jesus teaches us to judge righteously, discerning all truth.
Please don't invoke your God. I'm talking about the actual God. All loving, all forgiving, all knowing. The one who commanded us not to judge. Discerning truth is not judging, unless one warps it that way to fit one's own agenda. Not God's. Don't confuse the term using "judgment" as used in making a good decision (see the original language) with being "judgmental" - clearly prohibited. Don't judge others (be judgmental) - we have been instructed. I'd suggest to concentrate on your own actions otherwise you are walking on a very precarious interpretation of words which is also at odds with the context of the Good Book. Very precarious. Deliberate misinterpretation is not a good thing.
As for parents - I see parents who hit their child out of anger and parent's who never do who out of love. To invoke one as somehow showing what "righteous justice" is, I'm embarrassed for you. God bless you.
One who loves God and listens to him--NEVER--shows support for what he is against. Afterall did not Jesus teach to be no part of this world. The world supports worldly things that are in opposition to Gods will. And yes we are not the judge, and every human has been given free will from God( not man)to choose what they want out of life. Now the only thing a Christian needs to do( if they care about their fellow man) is point out from scripture that those who practice certain things against Gods will--will not enter his kingdom and all need to realize--- the only two choices given---- exercise our free will to stand in opposition to God and get 70-90 years of life now( that's it) or live now to do Gods will and get to enter his kingdom and receive life everlasting. As Jesus taught--Few find the road. Think.

Quote:
You judge according to the flesh; I am not judging anyone.
John 8:15
You've chosen to do something that Jesus refused to do. It's not something Jesus taught us to do--it's something JJ-Maxx has decided to do.

Re-read your Bible my friend. Jesus taught us to judge, John the Baptist judged, the apostles judged, Paul judged and Jesus judged. You are trying to twist the word judgement to mean accepting and ignoring immoral behavior, which Jesus never taught.

Guess that verse about "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. in Matthew 7:1 was in error???

And the golden oldies. You that judge do the same thing. Romans 2:1 and Who are you to judge someone else’s servant To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand. Romans 14:4
So i would guess it would be wisdom to keep our gobs shut.

They didn't tell JJ-Maxx to judge though did they? I hope you are not finding some equivalency between John, Paul, Jesus and mere humans.
Jesus is love, not judging, not animosity, not disgust, not condemnation. One should examine ones own life.
they who do such things, are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them.
They don't ask for your consent, you are not that powerful. Do not confuse who you are. You are a sinner.
