The wrath of God can only be appeased if men repent and receive the Glorious Gospel that has the only Power to change mankind but so many reject it in favor of taking pleasure in sin. When God is appeased by repentance and Faith, He then takes pleasure in showing the Way of Life. interpersonally. They go hand in hand. Why is this so hard to understand?
I understand you. And I disagree with you.

The idea that "God's wrath" needed to be appeased, that God needs or needed to be mollified or pacified, goes against other passages in the bible which claim to reveal the nature of God. According to the bible, God is love, and love keeps no record of wrongs, nor is love self-seeking. God doesn't NEED anything from us (not appeasement, not repentance, not transformation). That we learn to love self and others serves OUR needs, not God's.

Ps. People rejecting the idea that God needed to be appeased does not equate to people "taking pleasure in sin".

Sounds intense. Hope you are on the road to recovery and glad you're feeling better.
