Song of songs is about a marriage of flesh and spirit, and so the Shulamite is the beloved. A young Shulamite brought to David's bed in his old age. A Shulamite is a woman living in the land of Joseph, ''Ephraim.''
Jesus comes to make the two one in a marriage, and so Ephraim and Judah represent one person, your flesh, and your spirit. But you're flesh is to be a submissive female to the will of the spirit. As a gentile living in the land of Joseph,as a woman, as a gentile betrothed to a Jewish bridegroom is the picture of Solomon's beloved, and it is the example of gentiles grasping to a promise of Ephraim's return as Hosea says they need a marriage to redeem them back into Israel.
Elijah and Elisha have one sole mission to Israel, not Judah. Israel separated from Judah and Jerusalem and Elijah is sent against Jezebel and the call of Elijah is to tell the Northern kingdom to return, to come and be one with Judah. The Shunnamite is that gentile who makes a place for God's prophet while his mission is to return Israel back to Judah. So she is given a son.
Revelation 2 is about two kindseparate of children.
There are the children of Jezebel who was queen in Israel, and then the first fruits are shown, the sons who will rule the nations because they are the sons who have been raised, but the little children of Jezebel are killed.
''Woe are those with children and weaning children in those days.''
We areally the Shulamite,Shunnamite. ''Woman in the land of Joseph betrothed to a Jew.'' Submissive and supportive.
