A very large number of its "adherents" are not voluntary believers.

Here's a website for you: Islam: The Politically Incorrect Truth

Interesting. The Islamists say the same thing about Christianity---that it is a mish-mash of Abrahamic and earlier dying/rising god religions like Osiris and Krishna and Dionysius interspersed with the imaginations and heretical philosophies espoused by a 1st cent. psychopathic self-proclaimed "Apostle to the Gentiles" named Paul. I wonder who's right. I wonder if anyone can actually prove who's right, heh-heh.

If you were raised Catholic then you must know the only way for the Church to canonize a person is to have proof of two miracles done by praying to that person. No wonder you missed this one, I did as well. Are we to know about each and everyone? That would be a huge task. There are many saints, you can look up saint of the day to see that.

Well, I have some miracles for you. I had terminal cancer about 18 years ago that had spread to several of my other organs. He healed me in a week's time.

I had a crushed elbow from an industrial accident. It was so bad, to move it sounded like someone chewing on marbles from across the room, and it had a bone fragment near the skin you could feel. He healed it instantly in a church one day.

I had 4 vertebraes out of place and at least 2 ruptured discs causing partial paralysis of my left leg. He healed it so well, even a mylogram could not find any scar tissue from where they were, which as my shocked neurologist said, "And that's just not possible!"

I had steroids given me from pneumonia put my heart in AFIB for months. He healed it in the hospital.

I had a heart attack at age 30. He healed damage from it in 3 days time.

All of these were recorded before and after by tests and specialists.

Probably why He had me read books about Smith Wigglesworth, Norvel Hayes, and Lester Sumrall when I first came to Him and before I had anyone standing over me telling me what and what not to believe in the Word of G-d. He knew I was going to need their kind of faith built up in me.

I also heard a man years ago in the beginning of my walk, called Mel Tari talk about finding Him in the Philippines and not having anyone there to tell them what to believe or not, either. So they just believed what they read, and as a result he and those with him were witness to many miracles and so-called "supernatural" events that He used to convert the pagans they went to.

I didn't know who to believe so I shut myself up with a Bible and a Strong's for the first 2 years of my walk, and asked the Spirit to teach me, not having a clue how He could but I reasoned that if ONE scripture were true about what I had experienced spiritually in a book I had never read before was true, then maybe, just maybe, one other one might be true. Thus I approached and met the living G-d. No man sat over me to tell me what was or was not true, though many tried.

Put Him to the test as I did. Ask Him to have His Spirit teach you, and then wait and see what happens. What He gives no man can take away or add to. Peace

I'm not going to believe stories I read on the internet about a leg suddenly appearing on a stump, or Allah being written in a tomato. In my 5 1/2 decades on this planet, I have not known first-hand of one single unexplained miracle.

Have I known sick people who got better? Yes, of course, thanks to doctors, medications, surgeries, and other treatments. Have I known of other situations where someone prayed for something and it came to pass (a new job, finding "the right house," having a healthy baby, etc.)? Yes, of course. But I know many people who have gotten those things without praying, as well as many people who prayed for those things and did not get them.

Even when I was a fundamentalist Christian, I could not reconcile what the Bible said about prayer with what I saw in people's lives. I finally realized they are irreconcilable. Sometimes I wish I still had faith that prayer "works," but my intellect and experiences will not allow that.

All I can tell you is, He is a healer. No treatment of any kind was given me in any of the healings I mentioned, and there were others I didn't mention.

Ye men of Gallilee......the Yeshua that you "see" (perceive through the mind of Christ) is the One that comes to you. Ever wonder why healings happen in some church gatherings and not others? Where He is preached as a healer, and faith is raised from believing the Word preached on the subject, HE APPEARS.

I was fortunate to be steered into the writings of people that believed and so He appeared to them as a healer, as a newborn in the Lord. Your experiences may be true in that you've never seen it or experienced it, but your intellect is your enemy, the carnal mind is enmity towards G-d.

I hope you come to know Him as Jehovah Rapha, the Lord that heals. Peace

How do we determine which god is real? Are both gods real?
Jesus's apostles came to Jesus to tell Him that others were preaching and doing miracles in His name, should they stop them? Jesus told them to let them be since they were doing good things.

There can be good done by others, even if Jesus is not involved. but Jesus has the fulfillment of everything. Islam went off track at one point without Jesus. We hope it can come back.

The problem that I have with this is that it takes attention off of Jesus and places it on Mary. If we're honest, I don't see Jesus glorified, but Mary. John the Baptist stated that Jesus must increase, and he must decrease, and I think that's the attitude all Christians should have.
That is the attitude of Mary as well. She always points to her Son. Many have come to Jesus through her just like many come to Jesus through other Christians. Mary is the strongest though. Until one can give birth and raise Jesus as well as walk with Him to His crucifixion and stand at the foot of the cross to watch Him die one won't be as strong as Mary was and is.

So you are saying if you did not hear of it then it didn't happen?

Yet, men often point to her instead. That's my concern.

Yes they do since she is such a strong disciple for Jesus and they know she will lead others to God. It's only a smart thing to do.
