I am about 90% deaf..The Holy Spirit is the only thing I hear loud and clear..
God bless us all..
this could be a very good thing.....
Even though people around can't understand. My hb is pretty close and O, boy, it is a challenge sometimes.
I ask him at times is it selective or physical? LOL!
Most of the time I do believe it is selective, even though he says it not! LOL
Zen atheist June is nowhere near there yet, but let it suffice to say that she is pondering in her free falling state...

That is cool! Do hope this one has not offend you in anyway.... if I have please forgive me! It just her enthusiams and love for her God. Not wanting to bring any offence to no one!
The Holy Spirit is a seperate entity from God. "He" is part of our awakening to come back to God through the Atonement of Christ.
He is the voice of Christ, reminding us that we are all children of God and therefore perfect beings, created from God who is perfect and is not capable of creating anything less than perfect.

Blessing June!
It's okay, curly. --But bear in mind, the Zen atheist's emphasis was on the word "pondering."
Thank you, curly, but I can't help but wonder about the anaology of someone who was deaf and then begins to think they might be hearing music.
That person would totally lack any understanding, much less any context within which to process/comprehend what they were hearing...They probably wouldn't even realize that it was music, at all...
Take gentle care.
Then how would one explain the miracle of Hellen Keller?
Then how would one explain the miracle of Hellen Keller?
Just as Helen Keller initially needed Annie Sullivan to teach her sign language in order to make associations between objects, meanings, and actual words, so too does June. As well, Helen Keller had some experience with "hearing" prior to losing her sight and ability to see, if I recall correctly.
Nonetheless, you make a good point, Dave.
Perhaps it is analogous to say that June is trying to make the association between "water" and knowing what it is enough to be able to make the necessary connection(s).
???
Take gentle care.
