I'm going to start watching you for things I haven't figured out yet. BTW did you get that one from the prophets Boston? JK I see something different in what you said than the Bible quotes.

On a stormy sea of moving emotion
Tossed about, I'm like a ship on the ocean
I set a course for winds of fortune,
But I hear the voices say

Modern evangelical Pharisees do indeed chase a political agenda..
Not very little when viewing the BIG picture.
If there was little then there would Not be the many BIG cross-reference verses and passages among Bible writers.
So many references that Jesus could often preface his teaching statements with the words, "it is written....." written where but in the old Hebrew Scriptures. Such as found at Luke chapter 4.

Yes, modern-day clergy even use the pulpit to further their political agenda by using the pulpit as a recruiting station so parents will sacrifice their young on the Altar of War as if it was a sacrifice for God.- Matthew 26:52; Rev. 13:10.
The clergy like to sit themselves in the ' temple ' ( houses of worship ) as if they are God when in reality they are anti-God. - 2 Thess. 2:2-11; Acts 20:29-30

Do you mean from the album "leftoverture" by Kansas called Carry On Wayward Son?
Because the lyrics you posted are from the second verse of that song. Who is JK?

Did you know it's a sin for a woman to make coffee?
Yup, it's in the Bible. It says, "He-brews."

Aged is good, especially when it comes to Scotch Whiskey.
But some things are better left in the past.
