Jesus gave the Israelite teachers every chance to make corrections--they outright refused, turned their hearts to hatred for Jesus, taught lies about Jesus, then sent him to be killed.
God cut them off as being his chosen ones-Matt 23:37-39) -- Jesus trained teachers( apostles) who in turn trained other teachers.
the Israelite religion has refused to do Matt 23:39 for over 1900 years.
The 7 congregations, Jesus spoke to in Revelation, proves he has a religion on earth.

The JW's haven't a clue who God IS because they believe in the OT Jewish War God. Jesus told us who God IS. God IS agape. Jesus unambiguously demonstrated the TRUE NATURE of the ONLY TRUE GOD and smote no one despite horrendous scourging and crucifixion. He loved EVEN His torturers and murderers - "No greater love." All the Jehovah lovers are worshiping the wrong God because He was described by ignorant primitive, barbaric, savages in the OT. Jesus is the only one who knew the mind of God that is why we are to use the "mind of Christ" to interpret the scriptures with agape.

God does not change, but for sincere and intelligent believers the understanding of Him does. That is why Jesus corrected the OT and lifted the veil of ignorance from reading it. That was a truly beautiful song. Thanks for sharing it, although the JWs on here probably didn't listen to it as they generally don't indulge in other Christian songs than what's used in their own church because there are some things that they don't agree with in that music. Here's what one of them emailed me when I mentioned some of the contemporary Christian music I liked:

JWs are very stiff in their righteousness. It's their way or the highway. Very, very unlike Jesus. He liked sinners...even made some of them disciples.
The god presented in the OT is NOT the same God in the NT..
There are some glimpses of Christ in the Old Testament. But there is some devil passing himself off as god also. It makes people insane when they get the two mixed up.
Jesus spoke to 7 congregations in Revelation--proof he has a religion on the earth--all true followers learn from those teachers. They are the only teachers who teach truth.
Listen to what the Spirit is saying to those churches, that your so called teachers follow.
Everyone who knows the reality of history, knows 100% --YHWH-- a single being God is the only true living God. All the rest are false. There are some beings with godlike qualities in existence.
If God did it like that, to save all those young ones a judgement to the lake of fire--I applaud him--They will get an opportunity to gain life everlasting in Gods kingdom--the real life. God knows 100% what he is doing--He is always correct--Those that actually know him know its true. When billions are judged to the lake of fire, they will be wishing God spared them living their wicked lives.
YHWH and his son Love you--live now for entrance into his kingdom. Life everlasting-- its worth more than all the wealth and pleasures of this system combined.
Matt 6:33--Therefore, keep on seeking-FIRST- the kingdom and his( YHWH) Jehovah) righteousness and all these other things will be added to you.( sustenance, covering, spirituality)

There is no evidence that any person, group, cult or church has the rights to the ONE real god.
So as you applaud that vengeful and insecure god that takes the lives of innocent children to "save " them and prevent t hem from being evil doers, you MUST logically also applaud your god for using abortion as a means of weeding out the pre-sinner and providing salvation to their pre-determined evil lives--saved ONLY because your demented god took their lives EARLY so they might also have a slice of that life in paradise with the 144,000 people who your oppressive god has found to be better than the other 300 million lives and better than ANYONE who is yet to live...
So by your applause, why not KILL every child to assure their salvation and stop the spread of sin on its tracts.
If all that matters is "the opportunity to gain life everlasting" in your jealous god's kingdom, isn't it better we die at birth (or sooner) to have that opportunity? And here I thought Jesus died so EVERYONE had that life everlasting--now your punitive god just offers the OPPORTUNITY for life everlasting--denying the words of Christ when He said I WILL IN NO WAY CAST YOU OUT.....

The only merciful thing to do if the snarling, angry god brimming with wrath is the real god would be to NEVER bring anyone into the world via procreation EVER. You are right. There are probably people who chose not to have children based on that teaching.
