1 Timothy 6:16

[God] Who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power.

aoinian is obviously speaking of something that lasts for the duration of an eon.

But I know that you want to take liberties as to your definitions of certain Greek words in order to scratch your itching ears.

Those who are "in Christ" also have immortality.

They do not have everlasting life but everlasting death (eternal separation from God).

First, scripture says God alone has immortality.

Then you say those in Christ also have immortality.

Are then the damned also in Christ? Since the damned would need immortality in order to suffer eternal conscious torment?

Finally, how can you contradict scripture by saying anyone but God alone has immortality?

They are not immortal (having eternal life) but will experience eternal death (separation from God and all that is good).

Explain the difference between immortality and eternal life? Are they not synonymous?

Yes, they are synonymous.

Those who experience everlasting torments experience eternal death (conscious eternal separation from God)

What happens when death is destroyed? How then is death eternal? (1 Corinthians 15:26) The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
