Total depravity, that's who we are before we come to Christ. Man left on his own will not seek God and cannot, he is spiritually dead. God chose the Gospel to awaken those who are the called.

But when we come to Christ,

We are not born of blood/ we can't come by natural birth, but by Spirit.

Nor of the will of the flesh/ can't earn it by what we do, it's by faith.

Nor of the will of man/ religious efforts won't get you there, it's God' way.

But of God/ salvation is all of God and none of man.

Adam and Eve may have handed over the earth to the devil when they sinned against God, so people are naturally born into a world of sin, so sin is common place, as the devil is still in the earth who influences people to sin ....... But Jesus came and died on the cross of Christ and became the lone judgment for God to overcome the world and save people from being lost, where people can be free in the eyes of God to be sinless and even children born into this world God can receive protection from sin when parents of these children pray asking forgiveness
