Yes, and many do not realize that J Wesley was never a "Methodist" as a denominational member; He was Anglican and remained so until his death.

Thanks for all of your post..
I thought it was me for a minute with the problem, i guess miss Blue we the church could get lost in the plethora of denominational buildings, it's true that our light should still be like one that sit upon a hill no matter where we are i agree.
But what about the people that want to come to the faith and have to pick out one of these
buildings"?
Lord Have Mercy"
It can't be God's will, since Jesus intercessory prayer was in part os a request to the Father that we be in unity, one accord. one in Him as He is one with the Father
There are way too many accords" out there !!!

Actually I think there are not enough.

Each believer should constitute their own "denomination" as God speaks to each individual differently. Love of God, love of our fellow man, compassion, charity......these things we should be of one accord on. God is not fond of buildings, and he is not fond of the rules and requirements put forth by Religious institutions.

Thats crazy. Yes God surely speaks to everyone differently, but only differently How he says what he says, not What he says. There can only be ONE truth.

Is it possible that a lot of these are as a result of the fleshly desires of

especially since we all believe in Jesus the Christ
No wonder there are some that are confused about where to go and
what to believe (concerning the doctrines) of these various churches, there seems to be too many to choose, I mean more that 'Baskin & Robbins"
Okay God Bless All of you
have a good nite
Well maybe you could take it upon yourself to decide which denominations are correct, and which ones need to be shut down. Then you could force those from the shut down denominations to join one you deem appropriate.

Jesus created the Roman Catholic Church. The rest were created for various disagreements in doctrine or political reasons. Keep the RCC and can the rest.

you bet?

there's a huge difference still between inspiration and creation ...

today it would be called teamwork.
