God allowed me to hear the birds this early morning...the squirrel's chattering..the deer walking through the yard...
and to share this beautiful morning in unity with a few friends from here...

For the rain, and even though the thunderstorms were violent at times,
it did not come near us...

This is probably very selfish and self serving of me, but I am thankful for the amount of flood insurance they are going to allow us..we are in the process of rebuilding two rooms that were completely destroyed in the Mothers Day weekend flood, and we would have had to mortgage the house to pay for it..After we were able to prove that we had just finished remodeling everything and had new furniture down there they decided not to take any depreciation..Won't pay for everything, but I am so very thankful for the reconsideration...FEMA said they may pay the deductible for us..

Hi miss Blue,
So sorry to hear about your house...but I wondering if you know about replacement insurance...
that is what we have on our house...costs about $50 more per year...but if anything happens then they pay what it costs to replace...and you don't have to worry about the depreciation...
what an awful thing to happen...and on Mother's Day!
Hope everything turns out okay with Fema and the insurance..

What did God do today?
I came to the forum thinking...why am I even here...and ran into Miss Blue...who I always like to talk to...
Have a great evening!
