mike1003 I'm not going to go back and read all of the posts. Watching the Belle Island Indycar race on DVR and saw the Detroit monorail, how'd that work out??
i was really grateful for the monorail when i visited detroit. i don't know how i would have gotten around otherwise. i probably would have stayed within a block of my hotel and complained about detroit. instead i got out there and enjoyed it. a lot.

just because something isn't a panacea doesn't mean it is a failure.

Who we are | 3CDC

If you would actually take 20 minutes and read their website you would learn a lot about them, what they do, and how they do it. But your commentary on them being created to drive undesirables away is ludicrous.
We can read all we want to read. But after you get through the BS, 3CDC is an oirgnization to further the ecodomic interests of the major corporations in Cincinnati. There is nothing inheritently wrong in this, as there is also nothing inheritentely right in it. I only object to those those who seem to feel they are just full absolutely god-ashful in their economic outlooks.

Quite simple. They think God will just provide everything they need. I don't believe that If we don't contribute our far share, God will throw us over to the other sde. I will leave it up to you to determine what the other side is.

Look at the thread title. I believe it had to do with the City having to do with a shortfall in the streetcar funding,. After we wander all over the map, how much closer are we to resolving this issue? Doesn't seem very close to me. Why is that? Is it because the City is incapable of laying down the gauntlet and proclaimimg this is what the people want? Lets do it!

This.
It's been an interesting thread, with many high and low points.. but at this point you're going in circles. If something new happens on this front a new thread about the streetcar can be started, but this one has ran its course.
Closed.
