Hey Bradly, I am not familiar with Penasco. Is that near the Tierra Amarilla/Dulce area? Great picture!

Penasco is between Dixon and Truchas. A really small town, actually it is not too small because they have their own high school...

But I took the picture leaving Truchas, took a drive since my family lives in the Espanola Valley.

You just basically rejuvenated the amount of love I have for Buffalo, New York all in one post. Nice pictures! I really miss the place. It's the natural setting like that I prefer it over all these super urban cities.

Actually if people would educate themselves they would know that New Mexico has more than 30 lakes.

It may be the desert, but we have water... and plenty of it. A river flows threw the center of the state.

One whole river?! WOW! All we have is an Ocean, two of America's largest ports, and more bodies of water than you can shake a stick at, surely this cannot compete!

Sorry, but I couldn't resist the sarcasm there (on that note, I have never wondered why we're considered "rude") Anyway, cool pics.

I lived on the east coast when I attended Clemson.. I went threw all the eastern states. I thought Jersey was nice, I just was not "into" it. I think New Mexico had more to offer me. There is only so much open space.

In New Mexico.......... there is open space to relax and settle, less "city like" thats what makes it better for me.
