Riduclous, as the best hotels in NYC are not chain hotels.

Such as

1. Four Seasons New York
2. Ritz Carlton New York Midtown
3. Ritz Carlton New York Downtown
4. Peninsula Hotel
5. Mandarin Oriental at Columbus Circle
6. Plaza Hotel
7. Carlyle Hotel
8. Essex House
9. Trump International Hotel & Tower
10. Hotel Plaza Athénée
11. St. Regis Hotel
12. New York Palace Hotel
13. The Mark
14. SoHo House
15. Sherry Netherland
16. Trump SoHo
17. Crosby Street Hotel
18. Tribeca Grand.
19. SoHo Grand
20. Bowery Hotel
21. The Standard Hotel
22. Hotel Gansevoort
23. Gramercy Park Hotel
25. Thompson Hotel
26. The Cooper Square Hotel
27. Smyth Tribeca

I'm sure a lot more I'm forgetting.

NYC is not a "chain" type city

Thanks! Added Philly.

The Four Seasons site was a bit challenging to tell where an overall list of locations were. Upon first edit, I had left out both Atlanta and Scottsdale.

They need to revamp that a bit.

So does DC. DC has a Four Seasons and a St. Regis. DC’s Mandarin hotel was upgraded to the Salamander brand which is rated a 5 star resort.

DC lost one of its Ritz-Carlton's, while Baltimore has (to my knowledge) the only US Ritz-Carlton residences complex.

There are a number of Ritz Carlton Residences under development in SoFla: Miami Beach, Sunny Isles, Pompano and Palm Beach Gardens that are in addition to the existing Coconut Grove.
