No, I flushed them.

And sorry, but you're confused. That pic is Cancun, not Miami.

I did too. This guy honestly needs to stop boasting for Miami though.

Baltimore is definitely more like Philly...demographically, aesthetically, and politically. It has southern undertones, but I think it's a preview of what you see in the Northeast when headed up I-95.

For anyone who lives in DC, Baltimore is a great escape from the snootiness and pretentiousness of DC. The food in Baltimore is at least ten times better than anything you find in the DMV.

Besides being built very similarly as cities, Philly and Baltimore share a deep colonial history over the centuries. Also one could argue that Baltimore is second only to New York City in having the closest cultural ties to Philadelphia than any other major city. Baltimore is definitely more of a Northern city by far than a Southern city.
I agree with every single sentence here.

I like that Washington, D.C. and Baltimore basically make up a double-metropolis with two really different kinds of cities. More bang for the buck. :-)

Baltimore has great food as you say. But D.C. has also come a long way as far as restaurants and has more fine dining places.

I agree. I think Baltimore is pretty obviously a Northern city, despite being south of the Mason-Dixon and having a legacy of segregation, etc.

I just think it is weird that some people argue Baltimore is overwhelmingly northern while DC is southern, despite being 40 miles apart.

They're not up-to-date with how things are today. The DC metro area largely overlaps with that of Baltimore now that the economy of the DC area has become so large. The connections between the two metro areas have grown much stronger.
