Natural setting for one, can be very dramtic is also pretty vibrant and has better shopping, plus Pikes market is pretty awesome, likely a tad better than RTM. It does have some shortcomings in this comparison but Seattle is no sloutch and especially on vistas absolutely would excel
Good points, both are great cities, but in different ways....
Seattle: politest big city in the USA, Philly the rudest. (Much prefer Seattle here)
Philly climate: continental, more extreme temperatures, much more sun than mild wet Seattle (Much prefer Philly here)
Seattle: mountains everywhere, Philly area almost flat in comparison. (Much prefer Seattle)
Philly food: much better in my opinion. I so love the Philly area Italian-American cuisine.
Just a few reasons why I say they are about as opposite as you can get.
nice views in Sea when its clear enough to see Rainer and the mountain ranges, Philly is too old.
No to mention not enough BBQ, TexMex and other quality of life necessities...
Houston has the fine arts to blow both away although Philly symphony is good.
Disfunctional work rules as experienced near Philly and Sea is too far from family and other places that matter...(can fly to much of central America from here quicker than to Sea).
They arent very diverse either so boring culturally.
Philadelphia. Seattle is only for social misfits and ugly women.
I'm sure you've spent a lot of time in Seattle and know many people, hmm maybe not, but if you do, somehow the "misfits" were attracted to you?
And you must be homo if you think the women are ugly
