Tell me something John, why or how is Atlanta the hub of the southeast? Is there any proper explanation?
The way I see it Miami is the larger metro, actually has finance AND banking, has the largest film industry in the southeast, gets more foreign investments, has a larger income, and is wealthier. So how and why is Atlanta the dominant force in the southeast? Culture? You mean culture like Atlanta's unhealthy obsession with fast food chains, hip hop, and Nascar. Ithaca is more culturally northeastern than as is a big bustling city like NYC but NYC is the most dominant city of the northeast. Atlanta is more culturally southeastern whereas Miami is the southeast's most dominant city

Philly is definitely larger and richer than Atlanta--I'm not disputing that. Atlanta is smallest of the country's 5-million-plus cities in many metrics.

Its the 244 th largest Company and Regional or not its the 14th Largest Bank.A bank bigger than anything in Miami.
Really I think only person understanding here is kidphilly and hes not even from Atlanta.
