It seems like we hear about natural disasters happening everywhere in the US-from the storms/hurricanes in the east coast/south, earthquakes in the west coast, tornadoes in the mid-west, etc. It almost seems like everywhere is prone to a major disaster whether it be weather related or earthquakes.
My guess would be somewhere like Phoenix. Besides the super hot temperatures, you never hear of any extreme weather or major earthquakes. What do you think?
I don't think there's really anywhere in the US that isn't prone to something. The Northeast and Upper Midwest are maybe less prone to disaster than other parts of the country, but obviously that isn't always true.
Here in southern Michigan we seem pretty safe from the big disasters. The occasional tornado or blizzard is about the worst. Even those, we do not get as bad as other parts of the Midwest.
