So what?Atlantic City is a big dump and both of you know it.Casinos are popular but look at what cost it is to to AC residents.18% unemployment? You guys are seriously bragging?NO bodywants to live in AC.!
Philly suffers from association.

Philly is surrounded buy dumps. From Camden to North Philly and racist parts of slowly gentrifying Kensington. It will take YEARS for Philly to get rid of these slums.

I hate the cold, so for me Atlanta has better weather, but for everything else Philadelphia by a long way: Better restaurants, better architecture, better universities, better high cultural amenities, a much more vibrant and pedestrian friendly downtown, much, much prettier suburbs - the main line Philly suburbs are some of the most beautiful suburban communities in the US - suburban Atlanta which is most of Atlanta comprise some of the worst cookie-cutter sprawl in the eastern half of the US. Philadelphia also has for me a much better location. Within a two hour train ride, you can be in NYC, DC, the beach. Within a 2 hour train ride from Atlanta, you can be in the film Deliverance. Philly is a lesser NYC. Atlanta is a lesser Dallas. Take your pick. For me, it is not remotely close.

This link proves Atlantic city alone receives 30 million visitors per year.

Atlantic City | New Jersey Travel and Vacation Information, Official State Tourism Site

Stated right in the first sentence^^^^

30+30= 60

I estimate 60-65 million total because is left out other popular towns with visitors such as Cape may, wildwood, etc
Its really nothing to brag about. Why you think its impressive is beyond me.I would not want any association with AC if I were from Philly.

Besides you can post what you want but no other publication list tourism numbers of both metros together except promotional stuff for the chamber of commerce and convention bureaus.

Las Vegas is a dump too. That's what Casinos do.

Sounds like someone got proven wrong and is mad

Also, last time I checked Atlanta had a higher crime rate than Philly... so IDK why you're coming at Philly. Atlanta is a sprawling suburb... and suburbs are supposed to be void of major crimes, yet Atlanta is filled with it.

How much colder is Atlanta than Dallas?

Winter is my least favorite season in Texas by a longshot when I lived in Dallas and Houston. Houston and Dallas turn into frigid places and it's unbearable for me.

I'll only make do with a winter if the city is incredible, so someone from Atlanta please tell me what to expect in terms of city offerings and amenities. I know next to nothing about your city and no, I'm not researching it, spoilers, hate those too. Experiences are most welcomed though.

No one is bragging. We're just showing you that the visitor numbers to the Philadelphia area is under represented because the numbers on the site you listed only include the immediate Philadelphia area, it does not include the South Jersey Shore which is a part of the Philadelphia area.

We usually don't include those numbers in counts for Philly because Philly can stand just fine on its own, it doesn't need to include areas 40 miles out like Atlanta just to compete with the big boys.

Well, people in the Philly/ny area love it. You can hate AC all day but it doesn't change the fact 25-30 million people visit it every year.

Philly metro gets around 60 million a year, Atlanta around 30 million, face the facts!

Rather be 2 hours in the film Deliverance than 20minutes in the worst city in the U.S.
