The Hudson Yards project alone will have over 20,000 housing units
These 20,000+ units will all built by 2016 basically. This is not a 20 year master plan, these are individual buildings begin built across the city now. What is the timeline on the Hudson Yards development? If you want to include long range master plans, we can do that but D.C. has that on lock.

I'm not sure what the timeline is. Just pointing out that a plan for just one tiny sliver of Manhattan has more units than all of DC's development. I don't know enough about other things in NYC to get this started, so it'd be hard to make a complete list to compare.
Philadelphia has a similar development happening to the Hudson Yards, albeit on a smaller scale.
Cira Centre South. The first and smaller tower is already under construction and will be 33 floors and 430 feet with 375 luxury apartments. The taller tower has started site prep and will break ground next year and rise 47 floors and 656 feet, making it the 6th tallest building in Philadelphia. The tower will have almost 600,000 sq feet of office space and 260 luxury apartments. The complex is being built over active Amtrak, SEPTA and CSX tracks.

I wonder if there are in any projects in the works for Queens and the Bronx.

Fixed that for you......
D.C. has way more large 200+ unit projects going on in the same land mass as NYC when it comes to new construction of large buildings and it's not close. Keep in mind those 20,000 units are being built in about 8 square miles. If I included all the other area's of D.C. proper I didn't post and Bethesda MD, Silver Spring MD, Arlington VA, and Alexandria VA which would still be smaller than the NYC proper land footprint, this gap is huge. Shoot, just look at Silver Spring and Bethesda which are dwarfed by Arlington and Alexandria in development:
Downtown Silver Spring high-rise's either under construction or about to break ground:

D.C. leads San Fran in major development projects about 10:1. This really isn't close and the fact that you feel like you can disrespect the national model for sustainable urban TOD which is Washington D.C. is laughable. D.C. is at the top of the mountain in sustainability and TOD and you need to read up on current events if you didn't know. No city comes close to D.C. in major urban development right now and it's not close:
Thanks for making the page almost unreadable due to the huge load that probably no one will even watch. Isn't there a limit per post to how many photos or videos you can put up?
