But for Montreal vs. Los Angeles.... The city with more Gucci stores or the safer more livable city..... I prefer the latter.
LA is pretty safe and definately livable, so LA for me.

Yup, been in LA most of my life and never had an issue with safety. I've been all over the city and have never been threatened in any way. These people have clearly never been to LA.

If this place wasn't safe or livable I wouldn't be living here as long as I have and loving it as much as I do. Montreal seems depressing to me. Can't stand that kind of weather.

Yes really. You can do a search for the Colliers Q3 2013 North American Office Outlook if you don't believe me. Better yet, here's a screenshot for you:

Montreal, with a fraction the population, not only has more downtown office space under construction, it has nearly 17 million more EXISTING square feet of downtown office space. :c rying:

Less than 33 million square feet of downtown office space is pathetic to be honest. I pray for Los Angeles. What a struggle they are having creating a real city.

LOL what a desparate and tragic post^

Colliers says Montreal ended the year 2013 on a sour note and the office market had a negative absorption of nearly 1 million square feet. THIS MEANS THAT AFTER ALL TRANSACTIONS, THE NET CHANGE WAS NEARLY 1 MILLION SQUARE FEET OF OFFICE SPACE IN MONTREAL VACATED IN 2013.

Oh, and Los Angeles has 301 million square feet of office space. #booyah

Downtown Montreal is an afterthought by comparison so yeah...

No. I was talking about the amount of office space under construction. Not the absorption rate.

But it still has way more office space than DTLA! So what does that make DTLA? LOLOLOL! Talk about desperate posts, try reading your own.

PS, you still haven't responded to me accusing you of being dimond park. If someone accused me of being a known troll from other forums and it wasn't true, I would be denying it vociferously. Is the fact that you haven't denied being dimond park a tacit admission that I'm telling the truth?

Downtown office space. Keyword is "downtown". I bolded it in case you missed it from the previous post. And the 301 million sq is metro Los Angeles, if you actually read the links you are posting. Not the city of LA. Nice try though.

And according to that previous post, Montreal has more office space than LA. LA (with its taller buildings), only has a very disappointing 32.5 million sq feet of downtown office space. It's right on page three of the link you just posted (thanks for the link by the way. ). I will bold that one too for you in case you missed it. Page 3.

Denver and even Kansas City has more downtown office space than LA. Its kinda appalling when KC, and Portland each have more downtown office space than LA.

LA is the largest city/metro in the West by far, but has LESS downtown office space than Portland and Denver.lol.

From this link....

Quote:
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES
The Downtown Los Angeles market, in the first
quarter 2014, recorded net absorption of negative
137,400 square feet, causing the vacancy to
increase to 20.1 percent, up from 19.7 percent in
the previous quarter
WOW! I'm shocked. Downtown Montreal has a vacancy rate of 4.66% as of Q3 2013! 4.66% vs. 20.1%.

What a desparate and tragic post by you. LOL.

LOL @ the ruffled feathers.

So according to Colliers, in 2013, after all transactions were tallied, the NET change in occupied office space in Montreal was -947,000 sq ft.

Oh, and the core of Los Angeles actually has multiple large office markets:
West Los Angeles 56,858,100 sq ft
Downtown Los Angeles 32,566,100 sq ft
Central Los Angeles 13,667,100 sq ft
