Staying in Utah:

Salt Lake City or Logan?
Probably Logan.
SLC is pretty neat to visit but has an some sort of edge I can’t quite get past.

San Antonio or Phoenix?

San Antonio. I really like both. Phoenix is just too blast-furnace hot in the Summer. There's a lot to do in the San Antonio area, especially for its size.

Fayetteville/Springdale, AR metro area or Syracuse, NY metro area?

Give me NW Arkansas. Not as cold and snowy, and so many outdoor recreation opportunities nearby.

Creve Coeur, Missouri or Valparaiso, Indiana?

Valparaiso. Safer and convenient location to Chicago. Danville VA or Jacksonville NC?

Creve Couer... would rather live in an decent inner-ring suburb of St. Louis than an hour outside of Chicago in a college town.

Danville... Jacksonville's heavy military influence turns me off a bit and it's more geographically isolated. I like how Danville is within an hour of Greensboro and Durham.

Ypsilanti, MI or Dekalb, IL?

Danville. It's a beautiful setting, and Jacksonville is too military-centric and transient.

Golden, Colorado or Rapid City, South Dakota?

Rapid City. It would be a serious contender for relocation for us if it ever comes to that.
Colorado has run its course I’m afraid.

Des Moines, Iowa or Lansing, Michigan?

Des Moines. Ranks better than Lansing in my metro rankings by a good bit. But I wouldn't like Des Moines' landlocked location.

Louisville, KY or Richmond, VA?

Louisville. Two cities with a lot of history and character, and I love visiting both. But to live, KY is a more desirable state, so that breaks the tie.

Woonsocket, Rhode Island or Royal Oak, Michigan?
