Lawrence, KS. The proximity to KC and it being a pretty liberal place would be winners.

Waco, TX or Fargo, ND? Both college towns about the same size.

Ever wonder how Chip and JoJo are able to find all those "Fixer Uppers?" Because Waco's a dump. Even though it's cold AF in the winter, I'm going with Fargo.

Sacramento, CA, or St. Paul, MN?

Saint Paul, of those 2 cities for me. I remember google street viewing Sacramento, and as much as I hate to say it(I wonder if I wasn't looking up the right Sac neighborhoods, that may've been nicer?), that city didn't jump out to me as much as I hoped it would. Don't get me wrong it wasn't dumpy like Stockton(thank goodness), but to me it was just a-okay.

Now my turn to try one: Mobile, AL, or Pensacola, FL?

Mobile. More of that classic Southern charm than Pensacola.

Columbia, Mo., or Columbia, S.C.?

Of those 2, I'd probably pick the one in Missouri. And being between St. Louis and Kansas City, would be nice for sure. The only thing that I wish Columbia could improve upon, would be having direct Amtrak service. Although you can catch the Missouri River Runner Amtrak train in Jefferson City, so not the end of the world.

Missoula, MT, or Moscow, ID? (2 college towns in the inland northwest Rocky Mountains)

I will choose Kokomo. Columbus was depressing and not welcoming.

Montgomery, AL or Winston Salem, NC?

Winston Salem... seems like a more prosperous city with more to offer and I prefer NC to AL in general.

St Marys, OH or St Marys, PA?

Both too small for me but I'd pick PA. Emporia KS or Hays KS?
