Bethesda, MD or Ruidoso, NM?
I had to look up Ruidoso, and although it seems to be small and isolated, it is beautiful-and New Mexico intrigues the $#!t out of me LOL. Living near the mountain/forest and The White Sands, which I have always wanted to see, would be very cool for some time. Ruidoso it is!

El Paso, TX or Tulsa, OK?

I've been to White Sands, very cool, and very hot. And of course, I tried to do my best Boyz II Men.

El Paso, though Tulsa looks impressive.

Hilton Head, SC or Boone, NC?

Bristol, so I can cross borders every day.

Corpus Christi, TX or Charleston, WV?

Charleston. I think West Virginia is a really pretty state.

Columbus or Charlotte?

Columbus, assuming we're talking about the one in Ohio. Charlotte looks very pretty though.

Jackson Hole, WY, or Hartwell, GA?

Jackson Hole looks to be very scenic, but way too isolated for my tastes so Hartwell it is.

Columbia, SC or Baton Rouge, LA?

I'll be honest Columbia was not my favorite city-I had a great time there because I stayed with friends who were great hosts- they lived right on the river and we kayaked, but the city itself seemed a little "bland" when exploring on our own the next day-not trying to offend anyone, maybe we just didn't know where to go.

It also may be that we went to Charleston/Savannah right after, which really impressed me. I'll go with Baton Rouge.

Troy, NY or Bethlehem, PA?

Yeah, with Columbia you'd have to know where to go in particular. I'm not sure how long it's been since you were there, but downtown in particular has come a long way within the past few years; there's development everywhere these days which makes random exploration a little better.

I think I'll go with Troy; I was quite surprised when I saw pictures of it. Seems like a jewel of a town.

Fresno or Little Rock?

Little Rock. Didn't really like Fresno when I went there, it seems like I'd enjoy life in Arkansas.

Jackson, MS or Eugene, OR?
