N fimo, you don't get it. I'm not pretending anything. Show me where I have done anything other than point out that California is worried about the future of the industry there & that Atl has had a huge growth in the industry. Additionally I have tried to correct misinformation put out here about Atl that said that Tyler Perry was the only larger player in Atl. Deny that you specifically said that if you can.
You can repeat ad infinitum ad nauseam about tax credits this & tax credits that but all that does is ignore the facts of what is occurring in huge infrastructure growth that will make the industry more than a short flash in the pan in Georgia whose survival is totally dependent on tax credits.
I don't care which firms are based in LA, which you have continued to harp on. That is not the basis of this thread survey which is written as a look to the "future". There is past, current & there is future. This thread title included "future".
The companies make Hollywood. Not hard to realize.
And what Georgia is doing doesn't insure anything.
Again, Those articles are about production only and usually focus on trying to get the lawmakers to make it cheaper.
This thread sure has gotten long since the last time I stopped by. And by the looks of it, some of you have gotten the film industry and the entertainment industry mixed up. There's a difference between the two.
Why? You're confusing where some production is happening with the center of an operation. What % of TV shows are shot in LA vs ATL? Movies? Big label studios? Awards shows? Where do the famous entertainers live? You have zero knowledge here. All you're doing is trying to pump up your home, which is just serving to make you (and it) seem ridiculous.
SF is going to be 2 at some point? WHAT???? That is beyond jumping the gun.
I understand the whole merge of silicon valley and film but just because the technology will be produced in SF are doesn't mean that hollywood will move there. Besides, SF is way too expensive for Hollywood lol.
How so? What influence or power does it have? None.
And truthfully...
The real future is with the internet with shows and movies. It's in the baby stages. LA is going to be at center. Sf is likely to be 2 at some point.
I'm not even going to waste my time too much but I will say Atlanta has had many articles written about becoming the "Hollywood of the South" and etc. I don't know if it will happen or not although possible. Also, LA and NY are already established entertainment hubs so Atlanta is the obvious answer.
